Asher our Treasure Collector

For some reason Asher has an eye for "treasure". He loves to collect some of the most random things. If you tell him it is time to get rid of them he refuses because they are considered his collections.

This summer we were getting our garden ready and Nelson put in a watering system. Before we knew it Asher had gathered the hose/piping scrapes and taken them to his room. He let us know this was his new hose collection. We never know what new thing Asher is going to gather

In September we were at Max's soccer game. Asher was playing around, before we knew it he had brought and laid all sorts of treasures next to us. I told him he could take home one but he could not stand it. He insisted he needed all of his "park treasures". Yes I am a sucker and he ended up loading all of them up in the car. They consist of an old nail, a huge rock, a pipe and a metal weight. I did have to put my foot down on the huge piece of glass. He still has these things hanging out in his room.

His other prized collection is his cards. He gathers all sorts of coupon cards, promotion cards or junk mail cards. He has even been known to barder with my dad to getsome of his cards that Asher thought were so cool.
Who knows maybe someday Asher's collections will turn into true Treasures but into then we can't wait to see what he finds next.
