End of the School Year

The school year has come to an end and boy was the last week packed with lots each day. I am starting to wonder if they pack the days so full so the parents are truely glad when the summer break is here. But to tell you the truth I would never trade the opportunity to volunteer in the school. I love being able to be involved with what is going on with my kids in their classes. We had field day for each kid, business day, talent show and kindergarten graduation.

Asher had his Kindergarten graduation and was so excited. Everyday he would come home singing the songs they were learning. It has been so fun watching Asher grow this past year. He has loved Kindergarten and has learned so much. He has met many great friends and as he would put it all the girls are in love with him (oh boy, we may be in trouble). Here is Asher singing his songs:

Max had to write a paper about a Pioneer ancestor from a certain time period. They could turn in the paper for their assignment and enter a writing competition as well. Life was crazy and to be honest I wanted to blow off the competition. Max insisted he was doing it and hurried to get his paper turned in early. Good thing he did because he ended up taking 2nd place and winning $15.00. Here is Asher and Max with their certificates they got the last week:

Last of all- the last few days of school can't be complete without a bit of crazy hair. Max begged for his hair to be shaved into a mohawk and yes we finally gave in. We figure if they want to experiment with something we would rather it be their hair. Of course Asher came running in playing his pity party pretty heavy. He insisted it was no fair that he has never had a mohawk. Needless to say both boys were sporting their "new do" the last 2 days of school. Our only rule with their little experiments is that it has to be gone before church. So far they have agreed with us on that one.

So as written all through the year books this year H.A.G.S (have a great summer) I can say we definately will. I am ready for the fun adventures this Summer will bring and the time we will get to spend together!!
